Fátima Regina Nogueira is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Foreign Languages at the University of Memphis. She has completed her Ph.D. in Brazilian and Spanish American literatures with a dissertation on time and identity in Brazilian and Spanish American modernity. She has published in internacional journals such as Revista Chilena de Literatura, Alpha, Confluencia, INTI, and Luso-Brazilian Review. In 2003, she was distinguished by Vanderbilt University with the “Miguel Enguídanos” Research Award.
